Own Labor + 21st Century Life in the Villages

WELCOME to Ukraine! This is typical life in the villages today: raise your own food, hang laundry outside, feed chickens and pigs, garden all you can, even if you're a professional, university educated. Back aches? Carry on.

When projects are undertaken, if and when possible, the people can assist with providing their own labor. The following photos are of a man turning an old shed on his property into a functional bathroom with running water. We provided fun

ding for the materials, he provided ALL the labor.

With your help, since 1995, we've assisted the poor, from children to widows, schools to families. We are not limited to one segment of the population!

Currently, our donors are making an impact for refugee families that fled war-torn cities but remain in Ukraine by providing food, shelter, hygiene items, clothing and medicines.
Large organizations (e.g. Red Cross) are not reaching many of these families. They have limits on how many "food vouchers" are available, and run out within a day. Government assistance takes over a month to arrive, after applying, (and is equivalent to $100 for a month), and is limited to only a few months for those who've lost their homes. Not enough to subsist on!
Donors have also been heroes for the elderly, orphans, refugee centers and soldiers in providing these much-needed basics.

Previously, we were engaged in providing necessities of life as well as building wells, installing running water.

We have helped those in dire need with funding for medical expenses like surgeries, medicines, doctor and hospital fees.
We've shipped tons of clothes, hygiene items, school supplies & money to needy families, orphanages & schools. Provided funds for medical needs.
100% Volunteer run with a dozen volunteers on the ground in Ukraine who provide up-to-date information on local needs and vet refugees.
