Some of the people that we helped in the earliest days of the war (professors of Mariupol University) have joined forces to create an aid center in Kyiv for those who fled Mariupol - called the Charitable Foundation for the Restoration and Support of Mariupol.
If you watched the news, you know Mariupol was completely destroyed by relentless bombing.
The professors did not let that deter them - once back on their feet, thanks to our support in thier earliest trials, they teamed together to start a foundation with headquarters in Kyiv, and committed to keeping their university alive, even if virtual. They are teaching again!
More than that - they are helping their fellow countrymen who lost their homes to survive.
We are happy to have been invited to join them in supplying the basics of life to those in great need.
