Canadian teachers can appreciate the demand on winter boots that their feet and our harsh weather put them through - going outside with young children for recess and lunch, and in this woman's case, walking to and from school. All teachers around the world work hard. But this hard working teacher arrived at school after walking over a mile starting her day with very cold, wet feet as her ten year old boots - initially purchased from a thrift shop - just did not do the job. She is really happy that a donor allowed her the opportunity to get these warm, lined boots and throw away the holey old ones at the bottom.
