2013 My Own Water?

This widow with 6 children had been walking 800 meters to get water from a neighbor's well.  Even in the cold of winter, this strenuous effort had to be done to survive.

In her own words -- "Never did she imagine that one day she could have water in her own yard".

Think of raising 6 children, as a widow, with NO water on your property!
We had to built this woman a well!

Look at how happy she and one of her sons is.
She sends her gratitude and deep thanks.

Donors and Friends -
Would you love to help build more wells?

We have SO much here in Canada.

There are still too many people on this planet without proper access to safe, clean water.

Our agents, who are school teachers, see the needs as poor children arrive in their classrooms.  They identify the poorest families for us to help.

Their conditions are not good.
Please - Donate now to send them more food, or to help others like her to have their own well.
This is the road she travelled - 800 meters to the nearest well before she got her own.

See the big basin hanging on the left of the door for washing clothes by hand, for bathing - for 6 children.

This is incredible. It is wonderful to see all that clear water at her home when there once was no access!
