Another 92 blankets!

92 blankets were distributed to children in Kyiv who escaped the former (now destroyed) city of Mariupol. They are so happy for the help!

A group of church friends created a bottle drive to fund raise enough money to pay for the 92 blankets. Thank you from the recipients!

If you would like to create your own fundraiser, CanadaHelps provides this option on their site. Even school children have done some amazing fund raising activities for Ukraine.

Watch for a page and "drop down menu choice" on the Canada Helps site to fund raise for families to get covered hot water bottles and thermoses, as their electricity in Kyiv is sporadic. There is a target to help 200 families through our contact there.

Anastasia T. is a professor of the Mariupol State University which was bombed, but now operates online. Together with other professors, they created an aid center in Kyiv.
We're partnering with them to provide blankets, covered hot water bottles and thermoses for others who fled Mariupol.

There were lots more smiles, but no room to post them all!
